It’s always intimidating to start painting. Always! So I’ve come up with this somewhat streamlined process that works for me. Consider it a chef’s recipe. Once you make it, you will be able to add your own spark and make it your own!

After the class you will have a better understanding of light and shadow to apply to your own work. If you struggled to make your painting look more three dimensional and less muddier, then this is the class for you.



I consider this class as a fundamental one to all kinds of artists. Like a house foundation. I will explain to you every step along the way, so it's perfect for artist who are just transitioning from painting traditionally to digitally, and beginner artists!

Oh hello! My name is Melanie. I’m a visual development artist working in the animation industry.
