This course starts by describing the surging phenomena of a compressor in detail. Then, the various control scheme of avoiding surge is being discussed. The course ends with a practical industrial example.

The control scheme discussed in the course mainly revolves around CCC Series 3, Series 3++, and Series 5. Concepts like Surge Parameter, Safety Limit Line, Surge Control Line, Recycle Trip, Safety On, Interaction between different Anti-Surge Controllers are discussed in detail.
