In today's class we are going to explore using only natural light for filmmaking. What?! Is that even possible?! Yes, it is possible and in this class I will teach you the ins and outs of what I have learned and what works.

The project at the end will be students picking one location and filming in that location three separate times of the day (For example, morning, afternoon, evening). The point of this exercise is experimenting! The more you experiment, the more you figure out what works best for you and your craft. You can film one scene three separate times of the day or put together a series of clips from the location three separate times of the day. The point is to understand when are the best times to film in different locations. We will also learn the weather can be unpredictable and what we can do as filmmakers to conquer the challenge.

This course is for all levels. You need your camera or phone, and a form of editing software to put the clips together for the project.
